Since Nock Co's inception we have been asked, "how do I clean my case?" My general rule of thumb, personally, is let the pepper show and tell stories. But, I understand many people want their cases to look new even after years worth of dirt.
It's relatively easy to clean. You need:
- Small glass of warm water
- Regular hand soap
- Clean cloth (not a paper towel because that will leave lint)
- Nock Co Product
For light surface dirt you can forego the soap and go simply with warm water. Dip the cloth in the water until well dampened. Scrub the contaminated areas of your case until clean. Let air dry. You may need to do this more than once to fully remove grime.
For deep stains, squirt soap onto the cloth, then dip into the warm water. The suds will help loosen the filth. After the case has been scrubbed and is still a bit sudsy, leave the case to sit before washing off the soap for about 10-15 minutes. Then with clean, warm water re-scrub your case until no longer sudsy. Let air dry.
The synthetic materials we use for our cases are highly durable but will melt on your high setting in the dryer. You can wash your case in cold or warm water with clothes, but you may see some deformation in the shape of the case and stability. This is why we suggest washing by hand first and, if possible, exclusively.
